Sports NewsAmongst other matches played this weekend, the 2nd XV coasted to a comfortable 53-0 win against a Stewart's Melville XV, with Henry Ambler leading from the front as Captain and Jock Cameron directing the backs effectively. The Under 16 A XV, after the disappointment of last week, responded with a win in the Under 16 Plate against Madras. Some great team work was matched by individual brilliance, with the team managing to score five superb tries resulting in a score of 33-5. This was an impressive performance as this is the first time many of the boys have picked up a stick since March and we were a couple of players down through injury. | |
