Eily Craig OG waterskis for Charity

Congratulations to Eily Craig (Lothian 2005-2010)who took to her water skis to raise money for the girls school in Morocco that she's visiting after winning a Friends of Glenalmond travel award.

Eily skied an incredible 15 miles over the sea from the Isle of Arran to Dunure where she lives in Ayrshire. Eily dodged basking sharks and a Minke whale and managed to raise an amazing £2300.

Every penny will go to a school for Berber girls in the Atlas Mountains where she will spend the next three months teaching and helping out through the auspices of a Moroccan education charity.

18 year old Eily left Glenalmond in the summer with a great set of A levels - As in Politics and English and a B in Geography. She said of the FoG travel award: "I wanted to travel and experience life in a Muslim country and help raise the status of young women there."

After her gap year, Eily has won a place to study International Relations at Manchester University.
