Frey brothers enjoy sporting success

Glenalmond's sporting brothers Andreas and Karl Frey are proving to be top competitors on the Scottish table tennis circuit.

Both boys are through to the final round of the Scottish schools qualification after winning their respective age groups (Under 16 and U14) and Andreas now tops the points table for his age group after winning last weekend's Cadet Assessment. Karl came 5th.

This comes off the back of a very successful half term of sport for the brothers back in Spain when Andreas came runner-up in the Catalan Ranking Tournament for U16s.

And it's not just in table tennis that the boys are excelling. They're both very good golfers. Andreas won the scratch prize in three tournaments while Karl won two handicap competitions before they returned for the Michaelmas Term.
