Sharp shooting OG Jonathan Hammond (Patchell's 1994-99) has become the first Scot to win four medals at a single Commonwealth Games. Jonathan won two gold medals in the Mens' 50M Rifle Prone and the Men's 50M pairs prone with Scottish teammate Neil Stirton. He had already won a silver in the three-position individual event and a bronze (with Stirton) in the three-position pairs.

Jonathan's talent was evident during his time at Glenalmond. As a 17 year old while still at 'Coll' he became the world junior men's champion. After leaving us he went on to represent Great Britain at the Beijing Olympics.
