The  Uniform Shop at Glenalmond College is operated by the Direct Clothing Company, and the shop is run by Mrs Kate Dove and Mrs Margaret Whitten. This is located behind the Chapel, where there is plenty of parking space, and is best approached from Back Avenue.

Normal opening hours during term time:  Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1.30pm - 3.30pm

The school uniform and sportswear are stocked in the shop and some items of good quality, second-hand uniform (blazers, kilts and tweeds) may become available. Second-hand items may be handed in during shop opening hours and should be cleaned and in good condition.

Telephone 01738 880438 email: uniform@glenalmondcollege.co.uk

It would be very much appreciated if parents did not contact the school office with uniform queries.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by cash, cheque (payable to Direct Clothing Company) or by credit card either in person or by telephoning 01738 880438 during shop opening hours).  Alternatively, payment may be made online at www.thedirectclothing.co.uk . Simply select school from the drop down menu and then the 'Direct Payments' option. Charges for items of uniform from the School Shop cannot be put on the school bill.  When pupils need to purchase items from the shop unexpectedly during term time their Housemaster or Housemistress will give them a permission form and the pupil will be asked to sign a receipt whilst in the shop.

For new uniform fittings, please contact the shop to arrange an individual appointment which will take approximately 45 minutes.  Appointments can be made by telephone or email (details above).  Payment must be made at the time of the appointment - either by cash, cheque or credit card.

Please note that for international pupils a uniform deposit of £1000 will be added to the first term's account.
