1.Unfortunately it was not possible to complete the intended 50 shots for everyone.
2.Some groups and individuals were more rushed than others because the ranges were more or less busy.
3.The targets presented were not all identical to everyone, or even within a group.
4.Hence the scores shown should not be taken as a direct reflection of ability or achievement.
5.The guns used were .410, 28 bore, 20 bore and 12 bore according to pupil size and experience.
6.The shot loading thus also varied between different pupils. For example the .410 and 28 bore individuals used 14 gram (lead) cartridges. The 20 bore used either 21 (lead) or 24 gram (steel) ones and the 12 bore people used either 21 gram (steel) or 28 gram (lead).
