Visiting the School

A visit to Glenalmond College is recommended for all parents wishing to send their children to one of the top independent schools in Scotland.

You can only really get a feel for what Glenalmond has to offer by looking around our 300 acre campus yourself and looking in on the classrooms and Houses.

As you would expect when you are visiting one of the top boarding schools in Scotland, you will receive individual attention during your visit. You are welcome at Glenalmond at any mutually convenient time, with or without your sons or daughters.

When you arrive you meet first with the Warden, before being taken on a tour of the school in the company of pupils (in term time) when you should feel free to ask any questions. The pupils will take you to the key areas of Glenalmond College, including the science centre, the music school, the sports halls and swimming pool, the chapel and the library.

Your visit will also provide the opportunity to tour at least one boarding house in the company of its Housemaster or Housemistress.

During the day you will also be able to talk to our Registrar who can address any queries you might have about the process of application or any other issues.

If you would like to visit Glenalmond, please call our Registrar Mr Jeremy Poulter on +44 (0)1738 842056 or email registrar@glenalmondcollege.co.uk
