The Chapel Choir (numbering some 20% of the College roll) sings weekly on Sundays, performing demanding repertoire and nurturing numbers of soloists (there are five singing teachers amongst the twenty six specialist visiting music staff, many of whom travel from Edinburgh or Glasgow).
The choir sings throughout Scotland and has an impressive catalogue of recordings to its credit (including specially commissioned music from Bob Chilcott and Peter Gritton) and singers and players are encouraged to get involved in wider organisations. Currently, pupils belong to the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, the National Youth Choir of Scotland, the National Children's Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland.
Recent guest conductors have included Matthew Owens and Paul Spicer.
