Under 14 cricket trials are held during the winter and squads are prepared during the Lent Term. Regular block fixtures involving six, sometimes seven, teams are played on Saturday afternoons and occasionally on weekdays and Sundays.
The 1st XI toured Trinidad and Tobago in March 2003, Sri Lanka at Easter 2005, soon after the Tsunami, and India and Dubai in March 2007.
A senior development squad tours the North of England at the end of June each year and the U15 XI annually participates in a festival with King's Bruton, Sedbergh and Merchiston schools.
The College was runner-up in The XL Club Henry Grierson Trophy in both 2003 and 2005 (a UK-wide Public School fair play award).
Those boys who do not play representative or inter-house cricket participate in a softball option.
The College is a training centre for Perth & Kinross cricket and for the Scottish Women's cricket team which may provide opportunities for Glenalmond girls to play the game.
