The Inaugural OG Match was held at Scone Racecourse on Tuesday 16th June 2009. The OG team was: Nick Walters, Charlie Swanson, George Gemmell and Charlotte Bushby. Tristan and Grania Lambert played all four chukkas for Coll, and David Dalrymple, James Risk, Rebecca Marlow, Sam Smith-Maxwell and Mac Sinclair-Parry played one or two Chukkas each. Charlotte Marlow unfortunately missed out due to an exam the next day.
The final score was 11:7 to the OG's in what proved to be an exciting start to Coll Polo. Our thanks go to Thom Bell for all his hard work, and to James Crawford for some excellent umpiring. In 2010 we will do more training, look to organise more competitions, and attend the Inter-Schools Polo Competition next summer.
