Wreaths were laid at the Act of Remembrance by Commander Roger Benson RNR, Commanding Officer of the CCF escorted by Squadron-Leader Jeremy Gardner, Lieutenant Robin Mundill and Captain Mike Jeffers; and The Captain of Corps escorted by the Senior RAF, Royal Navy and Army Cadets.

A wreath was laid in memory of former pupils by Captain Nigel Anderson, (Matheson's 1992-1997) who has recently returned from Afghanistan and Ian Macdonald (Matheson's 1952-1957).

Pipe Major Craig Wainwright-Fisher played The Flowers of the Forest.
