Glenalmond pupils have achieved some of the best results nationally and one of the school's best sets of results in recent years, in the exams of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music taken at the end of last term.

Particularly notable were Distinctions for Tiffany Vong in Grade 8 organ, Ross Leaver in Grade 7 oboe, Archie Farquharson in Grade 3 Clarinet and Phoebe Anderson in Grade 2 Piano and a high merit in his Grade 7 Viola exam for Josh Gibson.

Special congratulations are due to Cathy Stockall and Lisa Robertson on their remarkable performances; Cathy achieved Distinctions in both Grade 8 Singing and Grade 8 Saxophone on the same day, and Lisa achieved a Distinction in Grade 7 Viola and a merit in Grade 7 Piano also on the same day.
