Congratulations to our Skiing Team

Congratulations to the ski team representing Glenalmond at the British Schools Ski Championships in Meiringen, Switzerland. The team of Alexander Barker, Fergus Izat, Lewis Fyfe and Max Wachendorff pulled out a spectacular performance in the slalom in white-out conditions. Max did particularly well and ended up overall best "Unregistered" skier in the overall classifications.

The end result was that the boys pulled up from seventh to fourth place overall, and finished only one second behind the third team, Cowbridge, and just five seconds behind the second team, Millfield.

The boys managed to work for each other as a team, putting the team before their own individual performances. Because each run needs three skiers to finish, if one falls early, the others immediately have to adjust and ski more safely to make sure, but still find the balance between speed and safety
