Each year, mindful of its responsibility to ensure financial stability, the Council sets the level of fees which takes into account the increase in general running costs, as well as the investment which is considered essential to maintain the highest standards at Glenalmond.

The fees per term for the academic year 2008/2009 are:

 Boarding  £8,270 per term
 Junior Boarding  £6,200 per term
 Day  £5,640 per term
 Junior Day  £4,230 per term

Fees cover the normal curriculum together with charges that are common to all pupils, such as the expenses of games, activities, membership of the CCF, use of the library, initial stationery pack, laundry and sewing.

Other items incurred by the pupil will be charged as Extras and include such costs as:

Payment Methods

Fees are charged termly in advance, in equal amounts; extras are charged in arrears. Each invoice must be paid in full by the first day of term. Other methods for payment of fees by instalments are available; details can be obtained from the Director of Finance. Interest is charged when fees are paid late.

A full term's notice is required when removing a pupil from the school or a term's fee in lieu will be due and payable.
