Our Pupils

Our pupils are what makes Glenalmond special!   They choose Glenalmond because of the opportunities it offers; the very best academic education, an extensive range of sports and activities outside the classroom, an inspirational setting away from the distractions of the city, and the chance to make friends who will last for a lifetime.

Glenalmond pupils are the heart of the school, and the reason for all that we do.  The sense of community at the school is palpable, and the size of the school means that everyone gets to know everybody else. Girls and boys share the same classes, different age groups mix easily in the boarding houses, and our pupils always look out for each other.  The warmth of the atmosphere at Glenalmond is unique, and we are incredibly proud of the young men and women that our pupils become.

Glenalmond welcomes boys and girls, aged 12 to 18, as boarders or day pupils.  Most of our pupils are British, but we also have a number of pupils from up to 16 different countries around the world.  There are about 400 pupils at Glenalmond College, an almost even balance of boys and girls.
