As part of our commitment to widening educational opportunities Glenalmond offers financial assistance according to circumstance. For more information on the help that is available, please see the Financial Assistance and Scholarships pages.

Glenalmond College fees are set annually to reflect the level of investment deemed necessary in order to maintain the excellent standards expected.  Current fees are detailed in the drop-down boxes below.

Our school fees are as inclusive as possible, and cover all of the teaching, accommodation and living costs. They also cover the charges that are common to all pupils, such as the expenses of games, activities,  membership of the CCF, use of the library, initial stationery pack, laundry and sewing. We are aware that some families will need help with school fees and more information is available on the Bursaries and Financial Assistance page.

Our video provides an introduction to Glenalmond College, and you may also want to look around our campus on our virtual tour.

1. NOT CHARGED

  • The first Saturday of each term for all Day Pupils.
  • Where a Day Pupil misses the Day Bus due to participation in a school activity.
  • Attendance at compulsory school activities such as sport, music, drama, debating, piping, art, trips which occur after the Day Buses depart.
  • Occasional whole school events where it is decided that Day Pupils should attend.  N.B. These can only be authorised by the Warden and normally the situation will be dealt with by running the buses late rather than by asking pupils to stay in (e.g Christmas Dinner).
  • Situations where no Day Bus operates such as compulsory Chapel.
  • Bad weather when the Transport Manager decides that the buses should not run and pupils are otherwise unable to get home.  (During the months when snow is likely day pupils are asked to leave an overnight bag in their House in case it is needed).
  • Day pupil House and College Prefects who are on duty.

2. CHARGED AT THE RATE OF £50.00 PER NIGHT

  • Day pupils may stay in the boarding house on additional nights if required, at a cost of £50.00 per night. Please contact the Head of Admissions for full details.
  • There will be a maximum of 15 paid nights throughout the year for our Day Pupils to stay in the boarding house before we would expect a conversion to full boarding.
