Recently, OG Archie Stirling-Aird (Reid's, 95-00), and two friends (Hugh McLean and Oliver Hickman) completed the challenge of walking over 100 miles in under 48 hours, to raise money for MS Society Scotland - a charity close to his heart.
The group walked from Melgarve at the headwaters of the River Spey, to Hopeman, a few miles to the east of Findhorn on the Moray coast, climbing approx. 6,500ft in the process.
The team completed the challenge in 47 hours and 5 minutes and reached their fundraising target of £8,000.
The money will go to the MS Society Scotland research department with the aim of increasing awareness of this unpredictable neurological disease.
Congratulations to Archie and the team.
