Remembrance Sunday

The annual Act of Remembrance took place in Chapel during Morning Prayer on Sunday 9th November. 

The Names of the Fallen were read by the Captains of Coll. Readings and Prayers were offered by cadets from the CCF. The Address was given by Captain Ed Whitten OG, The Light Dragoons. The Heads of Houses laid poppies on the altar. A wreath was laid on behalf of the CCF by WO2 Catriona Loudon, Captain of Corps, escorted by three senior cadets. Captain Tom Mortensen OG, The Scots Guards, laid a wreath on behalf of the OG Club. The wreath was laid on behalf of the Staff by Commander Roger Benson RNR, Commanding Officer of the CCF, escorted by three other CCF officers. The Last Post and Reveille were played by Marcus Yip. Chapel Choir performed “Do not stand at my grave and weep” from Howard Goodall’s Eternal Light”, with Patrick Baldwin singing Baritone Solo. Pipe-Major Alasdair Johnston played the Flowers of the Forest.
