Autumn Concert Review

This year's Autumn Concert took place on Sunday 19 November and involved over 100 pupils performing a variety of pieces with great success.

After the exciting opening competition medley set, played by a quartet of pipers, the concert went on to feature a variety of choral and vocal chamber groups proving that singing plays a central role at Glenalmond College. Vocal ensembles included Cantores, the Chapel Choir, Reid's and Goodacres' Part Songs and the Music Scholars' Choir.

The second half of the concert was entirely devoted to instrumental music, showcasing a range of musical styles, played by a String Quartet, two Wind Quintets, the String Orchestra and Concert Band.

The next school-wide musical event will be the Gala Concert on Sunday 4 March 2018 at 7 pm. More details are available here.
