Rising stars in the hockey world

John S and Susannah GF played against Wales during the Easter school holidays. Hockey coach David Stott is delighted to see how well both players are developing their skills and playing at such a good level for their country.


The annual Glenalmond steeplechase

On the afternoon of 9 March the idyllic golf course of Glenalmond College became a sea of colour, noise and energy as all of our pupils ran in the annual House Steeplechase race.


Pupils v OG's at Luffness GC, East Lothian

Pupils and OGs battled out a close fought game on Sunday, managing a last gasp win on the very last hole. Going down their last hole one down, Campbell G & Caspar K managed to win the 18th and so tie their game with Stephen Titterington and Euan Scott. In the second match, Cameron G and Tim H went down the last all square, but manged to squeeze home on the last green with a win and a 1 up score line against Harry Morgan and Mike Everett...


National Cross Country Championships Success

A Glenalmond pupil has achieved a very commendable place in the recent National Cross Country Championships. Susannah G-F finished in 19th place in the U17 Women’s Race on Saturday 25 February at a very muddy course in Callendar Park, Falkirk. Susannah runs with Gala Harriers and the girls achieved Team Bronze at the event. Richard Myers, teacher at Glenalmond and team coach said; “Delighted for Susannah, this is a great achievement. She trains very hard at all hours so this accolade is well deserved.”


Glenalmond Pupil Nominated for P&K Sports Awards

Glenalmond are delighted that one of their pupils Charlie A has been nominated along with other local athletes in this years' prestigious Alison Wilson Junior Sports Person of the Year for 2017. The ceremony will take place at the Perth Grammar School Theatre on 3 March. This award is in recognition for the achievements of our local athletes, clubs, officials and coaches.
