Diploma Success for Darcy

At the end of last term, Darcy M (6H) successfully completed her DipLCM Diploma in Music Theatre Performance.

Floors Castle Horse Trials

Congratulations are due to both Glenalmond pupils who did so well at the recent Floors Castle Horse Trials in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

It's all aboard for a Scottish boarding school. The Spring edition of the Boarding Schools' Association magazine has a feature on life as a boarder in Scotland and features Glenalmond being set in "300 acres of glorious rolling Perthshire countryside..."


Maths Success for Glenalmond

Congratulations to the maths 'wizards' who have done so well in the Intermediate Olympiad and Pink Kangaroo UK-wide competition.


Whole School Steeplechase

Amazing day to have virtually the whole school out together on the school golf course for the annual Glenlamond Steeplechase. The day showed that sport can bring everyone together, no matter how fast or slow you run, everyone was cheered the whole way round and through the finish line, whatever their position.


Poetry by Heart 2018

Glenalmond is absolutely thrilled to announce that one if its pupils has won the much-coveted, national competition, The 2018 Poetry by Heart Scotland Final.

Perform in Perth winners

After a seven year restructuring and investment programme within Glenalmond College’s Music Department – witnessing the introduction many new teachers and instruments - the school were thrilled to win multiple awards in many musical disciplines at this year’s tough, three week long Perform in Perth competition.


Musical Achievements

Well done to two of our talented music pupils at Glenalmond. Appin M-C has been awarded a much coveted place in the flagship National Youth of Orchestras of Scotland Jazz Band to play Sax. Robert B has been offered to study horn at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and The Royal Academy of Music in London. We wish them much success for their futures.
