Glenalmond musicians have had magnificent success in the recent Perform in Perth Music Festival with an overall win and an impressive line-up of six out of the seven finalists. The Premier Prize was awarded to Alexander W (piano) by adjudicator Liz Childs for his superb performance of Beethoven’s Andante Favori.
“It’s lovely to see St John’s Kirk so busy on a Sunday afternoon,” extolled Howard Duthie, Director of Music at St John’s, as he welcomed crowds and detailed fire exits: “and an especially big welcome if you are here for the first time, please don’t let it be your last.”
