OG wins a BAFTA

OG Rebecca Morgan (Lothian 2003-07) was delighted to win a BAFTA in the British Short Film 2016 category with her film, Operator, at the award ceremony held in London on 14 February.


Rebecca was a producer, in conjunction with Caroline Bartleet, on the gritty six minute long drama monitoring the tension between an a emergency services provider and a mother trapped with her child in a burning house.


Andrew Macdonald (Skrine's 1979 - 84)  was a producer of “Ex Machina” in the category “Outstanding British Film” and came a very worth runner-up to Nick Hornby’s blockbuster, Brooklyn.
