OGGS at Queen Elizabeth Tournament

OGGS Reach Semi-Final in Queen Elizabeth Tournament

After two days of excellent competition at the Queen Elizabeth Coronation Schools Tournament at Royal Burgess, the Old Glenalmond Golf Society (OGGS) had seen off the Dollar Academicals, followed by Old Fettesians and finally Crieff High School.

This fantastic run led to a semi-final place against George Heriots today (25th Sept). The OGGS fought a great battle, but were unfortunately beaten 3-0. George Heriots will now go on to face Stewarts Melville in the final.

Despite the defeat, congratulations must go to OGs David Rennie, Jordan Chatt, Simon Booker-Milburn, Tosh Park, Niall Bookerand in-coming captain of the Society David Sanderson for taking the Old Glenalmond Golf Society to the semi-finals of this tournament for the first time since the 1960s.

OG Niall Booker sinks the winning putt against Crieff High School.
