Glenalmond to Host Anti-Bullying Ambassadors Training

The Diana Award's Anti-Bullying Programme comes to Glenalmond

As part of our commitment to prevent and tackle bullying, we are delighted to announce that we are working with the Diana Award to introduce their Anti-Bullying Ambassadors programme at Glenalmond. This is an exciting opportunity for us to be part of a wide network of schools working to empower young people and staff to change attitudes, behaviours and cultures of bullying by building skills and confidence to address different situations.

On Thursday 5 September we are holding a training event where 20 Glenalmond pupils alongside approximately 80 students and staff from other schools including Kilgraston, Morrisons Academy and the High School of Dundee will come together to undertake a range of activities in order to become Anti Bullying Ambassadors.

In their role they will help educate their peers on bullying, lead on anti-bullying campaigns, promote a culture which celebrates and tolerates difference and help keep their peers safe both online and offline.
