The influential Who’s Who, a weightly reference book that contains 33,000 concise biographical details on some of the most powerful, influential and talented people on the planet, has included Glenalmond’s Warden, Elaine Logan, for the first time.
Ms Logan, along with Professor Sally Mapstone (Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of St Andrews), French President Emmanuel Macron and recently appointed Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick, CBE, QPM, are among 750 new entries in the 2018 version. Commenting on her inclusion, Ms Logan said: “Naturally I am delighted and very flattered to be included in this industry-leading manual.” She continued: “There is a lot of great work going on by everyone at Glenalmond College, which is obviously being noticed by the wider community.”
Who's Who has been published annually since 1849 and lists, according to its editors, “People who influence British life.” Entries include judges, civil servants, politicians and notable figures from academia, sport and the arts with each entry being by invitation only. Who’s Who 2018 was published at the beginning of December 2017 by A & C Black.
