Sixth Former, Cameron S, finishes the annual Abernethy Hill Race in a record breaking time.
The Abernethy Hill Race is a 3.5km fun run race from the Village Square up to the top of Castlelaw and back (elevation 206m), which takes place annually as part of the village's Gala weekend.
This year, one of Glenalmond's talented runners, Lower Sixth pupil Cameron S (Patchell's), took part in the race in the Boy's 16 and Under category. Not only did Cameron win his category, he was also the first person to cross the finish line in a staggering 16 minutes and 14 seconds.
Cameron is now the proud holder of two Abernethy Hill Race records - the 16&U Record and also the Overall Course Record.
