We are looking forward to lots of activities this weekend, including our traditional Sunday Funday.
To allow all pupils to get involved in the weekend's activities we postponed our usual first weekend back activities weekend to this weekend (11/12 Sept).
Day pupils will be able to stay over ** this Saturday night if they wish, subject to informing Housemistresses and Housemasters, and as this is the usual ‘First Saturday social’ there is no overnight accommodation charge.
On Sunday morning, all pupils who are in overnight will attend Chapel but it is not a compulsory Chapel for day pupils. Following this, we will have our Sunday Funday with a rota of activities for pupils who will be with their Houses for the afternoon.
It starts at 13:30 so if coming for the day only, pupils should be at their houses for 13:00 in order to get in the house spirit! The afternoon finishes with a BBQ supper starting at 17:30.
There is a charge (under £25) for these activities and that will be added to the school account at the end of term.
House staff have already asked day pupils whether they would like to attend on Sunday to get a clear indication of numbers and so if there are any pupils who have not confirmed, please speak to their Housemaster or Housemistress.
I hope you have been able to look at the upcoming Weekend Activities, which can be found on the Parent Portal, and further details will be sent out in advance. If you would like any further information, please don't hesitate to be in touch.
You can view our Weekend Activities Planner here.
**Please note: Changes to the official COVID-safety requirements from this weekend also mean we are now able to offer the opportunity for day pupils to ‘book in’ for overnight stays by informing their Housemaster or Housemistress. Please see the details on day pupil overnight charges in the Parent Handbook.
