Countdown to Glenalmond Open Day - Sept 19

The countdown to our Virtual Open Day is on and you are very welcome to join us!

We are delighted to extend a very warm welcome to families interested in a Glenalmond education to join us on Saturday, September 19th at 10.00hrs BST for a Virtual Open Day at our exceptional school - REGISTER HERE.

Tatler Magazine Top Prep and Public Schools Guide, just out, describes Glenalmond as "exuding sprightly Scottish spirit from every one of its 320 magnicient acres" and the latest edition of Country Living lists Glenalmond among just a handful of British schools where "enviable rural locations complement excellent all-round education, providing plenty of fresh air, freedom and easily accessible outdoor activities."

Highlights include:

☑️Safe, healthy rural location

☑️ Small class sizes

☑️ Academic excellence

☑️ Outstanding facilities including Olympic standard water-based astro

☑️ More than 300 acres - including golf course and new indoor golf hub

☑️ Dedicated staff who live on-site

The event will offer an online opportunity to explore our stunning campus, set in 300 acres of the beautiful Perthshire countryside, as well as meeting key staff. Our aim is to give an insight into our school's vibrant, close-knit community, our values and our commitment to academic and pastoral excellence.

Visitors will have the opportunity to speak with our  Warden (Head), Dr Michael Alderson, as well as members of our admissions team and key staff involved in sport, music, academic and pastoral care. A series of videos and publications will also be provided to our visitors to give a clear sense of what life is like at Glenalmond College and what sets us apart.

Glenalmond is, we believe, the most beautiful school in the world, providing a natural, healthy environment in which children thrive and you will get a keen sense of this during your Virtual Tour.

The tour starts with the unforgettable drive down Front Avenue and through the archway into the Quad at the heart of our school, in which our library, chapel and cloisters are located. You'll then soar high above for a bird's eye view of our state-of-the-art astro pitches before swooping on to visit our swimming pool, golf course, outdoor classroom and other facilities and classrooms.

We look forward to meeting you and answering all the questions you may have. Please complete your details on the registration form. You are also very welcome to call us anytime on 0044+1738 842000 or email  for further information and in-person visits to Glenalmond, subject to our COVID-safe measures and strictly by appointment only, are also possible.
