The weather forecast was poor when the third form walkers set off to walk around Loch Leven on Field Day.
Two groups set off in a clockwise direction, and the other two anti-clockwise. The weather held out with only the merest sprinkle of rain, although black clouds drifted by with sunny spells and rainbows. The two sets of groups met at the far end of the Loch around lunchtime. At this time of year, Loch Leven is perfect for bird watching, with young hatching and migrating birds returning. The groups met back at the bus in Kinross within 5 minutes of each other.
