Glenalmond Celebrates Wildlife on Grounds

One of the sights we all love at Glenalmond is our bustling community of red squirrels & we are delighted to share our 300 lovely acres with them all.

As a school we greatly value the range of wildlife we have living on our grounds and we actively seek ways to support them.

This includes bat boxes, owl houses and leaving piles of leaves for our hedgehog population to use for hibernation.

Our school eco-group also plants wildflowers to encourage a great environment for biodiversity.

We recently produced a calendar, featuring pictures of the wildlife at Glenalmond, in support of the Scottish Wildlife Trust.
