What Sets Sixth Form at Glenalmond Apart? Glenalmond is the only school to offer A-Levels (22 subjects), Highers (10 subjects) and EPQs coupled with a choice of 80 activities, plus leadership training with Royal Marine Commandos. This unique combination means Glenalmond students emerge from Sixth Form as exciting prospects for universities and future employers, routinely with 3 A-Levels, a foreign language Higher & an EPQ. Our Extraordinary Sixth Form Highlights Include:

  • Excellent subject choice: 22 A-Level & 10 Higher Subjects (2020/21)
  • Students routinely leave with 3 A-Levels, a foreign language Higher & an EPQ
  • Many L6 students take a language Higher (beneficial for university & employability)
  • Most students complete an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) - mini dissertation.
  • Pupils are offered Morrisby Career Guidance Program and we have a dedicated careers adviser on staff.
  • Free careers interviews are offered as well as advice on university choice. From 2021, all pupils will be offered coaching so they leave us with a polished Linkedin account.
  • Excellent "Learning to Learn" Tutor programme.
  • Exceptional leadership experience including challenge led by Royal Marine Commandos.
  • Superb Sixth Form social, sport and extracurricular activities including theatre trips and career talks.
