Perth Uniform Shop Hit by Flooding

The Perth store of our uniform suppliers Stevensons School Uniforms has re-opened (downstairs only) on a limited basis, after being affected by flooding due to the storm this week.

StevensonsThe store was forced to close on August 12th due to flooding following the torrential conditions the previous night. It has now re-opened on a limited basis and we will keep parents updated via social media and our website.

Uniform can also be bought online via www.stevensons.co.uk and an appointment for our Preloved Uniform shop can be made by emailing: preloved@glenalmmondcollege.co.uk. More information about our uniform provision is below.

The Stevensons Group is the official supplier of Glenalmond school uniforms and sportswear.  Please click here to see the Uniform Price List.   Information on sizing can be found here or click here to see the Uniform Guide and Uniform Price List .  Stevensons can print name tapes in branch while you wait or you can order online via their website for home delivery. Name tapes come in packs of 50 for £5 and are iron-on.

The closest Stevensons store to Glenalmond is located in Perth on the corner of George St and the High Street https://www.stevensons.co.uk/our-branches/perth/38. This store was formerly Aitken and Niven. Appointments are no longer required for the Perth store and custoners can now walk in. In addition to its usual trading hours the shop will be open on several Sundays in August and these are detailed via the store link above.

Our pupils are also required to bring a laptop with them to school - guidance is available here. Further information for parents is available in the Parents' Handbook.

Please note: Mouthguard fitting usually takes place on the first day of return to school. This year (2020-21) it will not take place at school in line with COVID-safe measures. Instead you can order mouthguards direct from Opro, our recommended suppliers, or you can use alternative makes and suppliers.

With Opro - the options for September 2020 are either to take an impression at home or to order a customised mouthguard without requiring an impression at home.

We recommend that mouthguards are properly fitted by a dentist when it is possible to do so.
