Success for our Glenalmond Cross Country runners at the Glenalmond and Strathallan invitationals last week
Glenalmond Invitational
The Glenalmond girls did exceptionally well with Fifth Form pupil Beatrice T (U17) and Lower 6th pupil Susannah G-F (O17) winning their respective races. Beatrice was the first overall girl and set a new Invitational Record.
The U17 boys were runners up and the O17 boys put in a tough, hard-fought performance.
After the Glenalmond Invitational, the races continued at the Strathallan Invitational in preparation for the Scottish Schools Cross Country competition in March.
Strathallan Invitational
Fourth Former, Rosie D (U17), Susannah G-F (O17) and Cameron S (U17) (Lower 6th) all finished first overall in their respective races. Beatrice T and Emmy S K (Fifth Form) finished 2nd and 5th respectively to ensure a U17 team victory for the girls, while Fifth Formers Andrew S and Ramsay P finished 3rd and 5th to ensure a victory for the U17 boys.
Overall a fantastic day of racing for Glenalmond with 8 medals earned - very well done to all!
