Upper Sixth pupil, Cameron S, gives us an overview of Glenalmond's cross country successes at the recent Strathallan Invitational
"On Thursday the 7th of February, a small but mighty few of the cross country team headed to Strathallan for the eagerly anticipated Strathallan invitation. With the race being a ‘derby’, hopes were high to get a large medal haul.
Harris P (3rd Form, Carnies) kicked off the medals with a 1st place win in his age group, followed by a superb 2nd place from Susie R (3rd Form, Lothian) in her race too.
Rosie D (5th Form, Lothian) continued the success with large win in her race, winning before anyone else had come into sight. The success continued in the final race of the day when Cameron S (Upper Sxixth, Patchell's) won his race and Andrew S (Lower Sixth, Reid's) came an impressive top 10 in the same race.
Overall, the race set the team in high spirits for the Glenalmond Invitational in a couple weeks time."
