Meet The Parents 2

While we are delivering remote teaching via Coll@Home we are committed to ensuring parents are kept up to date with information and, importantly, that we can act on their feedback.

Our Warden, Dr Michael Alderson, is maintaining regular contact with parents by way of update on the arrangements in place to ensure we maintain a very high standard of education for our pupils. He will also provide an update as soon as possible after any official annoucements as we progress towards the return to full in-person teaching.

All parents receive our weekly enewsletter which is issued on a Friday afternoon, as well as updated on our website and via social media.

We recently published the latest edition of The Chronicle, a review of school life at Glenalmond during 2019/2020 and our emagazine for former pupils, Floreat, is also shared with parents.

During Coll@Home we will also be seeking feedback from parents via surveys and, while we will constantly seek to improve and innovate, we have been delighted to receive very positive survey feedback - more here.

We are very much looking forward to be able to physically welcome parents back to Glenalmond for events in the future. From our Candlelit Service to sports fixtures, House events, Remembrance Service and Commem, there will be lots of opportunity to meet special people and make friends and memories.

In the meantime, we are hosting a series of "Meet the Parents" Online Coffee Mornings which are specifically designed for friendly, informal chat with fellow mums, dads and guardians. Keep an eye on social media and via our website news feed and weekly enewsletter for more dates.
