Glenalmond welcomes international pupils from across the world with approximately 14% coming from overseas. With over 70% of our pupils fully boarding (7 days a week), we are able to offer an outstanding education throughout our 300 acre campus.
Whether your child is fluent in English or needs additional help we are able to provide the right amount of support. Our international pupils make a major contribution to the diversity and life here at Glenalmond.
We are delighted to help with any visa requirements and work with Sable International, our trusted immigration specialist partner, to support families through the visa application process upon acceptance of a place at Glenalmond. Sable has been providing immigration services for over 30 years and is regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner, ensuring all UK immigration applications are prepared in compliance with UKVI requirements. We work with many educational consultants and agents. If you wish to confirm that an educational consultant has an active agreement with us, or if you are dissatisfied with your experience of using a specific educational consultant, please contact our Admissions team.
As a full boarding school, we have a 7-day week programme, it is vital that all our boarders enjoy a home-away-from-home experience and feel secure and supported throughout their stay with us.
Although we have ‘Leave Out’ weekends, pupils are able to stay during these weekends if necessary and many are welcomed home with friends. There are two Leave Out weekends in the Michaelmas and Lent Term, and one in Trinity Term.
Glenalmond is extremely proud of having a long tradition and relationship with Forces personnel and are accredited by the MOD for the Continuity of Education Allowance, we will apply a 10% HM Armed Forces' discount onto this.
