The countdown is underway to our Main Show 2021...... Spamalot! Our Director of Theatre, Liz Moss, and our Drama and Music staff and pupils have been working hard behind the scenes with preparations and rehearsals are now full steam ahead. We can't wait!

A former pupil who was placed 24th in the mass start in the Virgin London Marathon last weekend - and produced his best personal time of 2 hours 25 minutes - returned to Glenalmond this week.
Charlie Sandison (Skrine's, 2008-13), went for a run around the Glenalmond Golf Course with some of our pupils before addressing our pupils and staff as part of our Athelete Development Programme.
Among his key messages during an inspirational talk to pupils was that it is the way you respond when you fail to meet your goals, as much as when you do, which shapes who you are.
A Glenalmond College minibus driver has this week stepped down from behind the wheel, after two decades of transporting pupils to and from the leading Perthshire independent school.
Willie Simpson, who is also a well-known local farmer and breeder of prize-winning Highland ponies, is retiring from his driving duties. However, he still intends to keep playing at events, including Glenalmond ceilidhs, with his renowned Scottish country dance band.
Glenalmond College has a fleet of liveried vehicles which provide a free transport service for families with children attending the school. The routes covered by Willie and his fellow drivers range from as far afield as Aberfeldy, Auchterarder, Rait, Bridge of Earn, Dunning and Crieff. New bus routes to meet local demand, including Burrelton and Glenfarg, are planned for next year.
One of the highlights of the year at Glenalmond College is the Candlelit Service which is traditionally held at the end of term.
It is incredibly hard to put into words what makes our end of term Candlelit Service so special.
These photographs, taken at Chapel this evening, go some way to conveying the ethereal atmosphere which makes this service one of the standout events in our school calendar for pupils, parents and staff.

At the end of last term, Darcy M (6H) successfully completed her DipLCM Diploma in Music Theatre Performance.

Congratulations are due to both Glenalmond pupils who did so well at the recent Floors Castle Horse Trials in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Congratulations to the maths 'wizards' who have done so well in the Intermediate Olympiad and Pink Kangaroo UK-wide competition.
Amazing day to have virtually the whole school out together on the school golf course for the annual Glenlamond Steeplechase. The day showed that sport can bring everyone together, no matter how fast or slow you run, everyone was cheered the whole way round and through the finish line, whatever their position.
