Captains of Coll 2024-2025

As the end of our time at Glenalmond draws near, we have been reflecting on the last five years during which we have been fortunate enough to attend Coll. We have taken up countless opportunities during this time; performing in renowned churches, taking on Doddie’s Grand Tour 2025, running the Island Peaks Race and many more. 

Having said this, perhaps one of our few regrets from our time at Coll is that we didn’t take every opportunity offered to us - and we would urge any current or future pupils that may be reading this to avoid making the same mistake. 

Over the last year, our role as Captains of College has given us the chance to give back to the school and has also helped us to develop as people and leaders. We played a key role in organising the Sixth Form’s three annual balls, raised more than £1000 during GiveGig, and represented the pupil body with integrity. 

Looking forward, Olivia has accepted offers from elite universities to study Chinese, and Oli is taking a gap year to travel through Europe and the Middle East. It is an exciting time for Glenalmond, and we will certainly keep a keen eye on the development of the College’s governance long after leaving the school. 

We hope that all of the pupils have a deservedly restful summer, and that all of our fellow leavers are able to reflect upon their time at the school with adequate appreciation and admiration.
